Stop-Mikulás Futás is a festive run in Tatabánya tied to Mikulás Day (Hungary's St Nicholas, 6 December). The main distance is about 5-6 km through town, with a 2 km run and children's races too; many run in red hats and costumes, and the mood is family-friendly and charitable. The course is flat and accessible — a run 'for everyone' rather than a race for time. A cheerful way to start December. Confirm the exact distance and details with the organiser.
