The Stubai Ultratrail is a summer trail festival in the Stubai valley held in early July; in 2026 a 100 km race was added for the first time to the five existing distances. The line-up is STUBAI 100 (100 km, 5,800 m of climbing), STUBAI ULTRA (57 km, 4,200 m), CLASSIC (31 km, 2,300 m), EXPRESS (23 km, 1,240 m) and the Friday Sunnenseit'n Trail over 14 km, all starting and finishing in the centre of Neustift. The 100 km route links all five communities of the valley over alpine passes with stone slabs, narrow paths and gravel tracks, with glacier views at the head of the valley. It is serious high-mountain running with huge climbing, yet even the short routes deliver real Tyrolean panoramas. The Stubai valley offers a glacier with skiing much of the year, the Grawa waterfall, cliff-edge viewing platforms and Innsbruck just half an hour away.
