Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon

The Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon has been voted the UK's best half marathon in consecutive years; more than 7,500 people registered in 2025, and from 2027 the race moves to March. The fully closed-road route starts and finishes in the city centre, passes Swansea Arena, Brangwyn Hall and the castle, then follows about five miles of Swansea Bay coastline towards Mumbles. With only about 36 m of elevation gain, it is one of the UK's flattest halves, with pacers for every finish time, entertainment zones and wheelchair-friendly access. Swansea is the gateway to the Gower Peninsula and Rhossili Bay, seaside Mumbles and Dylan Thomas country.
