The Sylvester Zagreb Run is Croatia's take on the New Year's Eve 'San Silvestro' race: on 31 December runners, many in costume and tinsel, cover a short festive distance through the Advent-decorated centre of Zagreb. It is less about the clock and more about sending off the year on the move and in high spirits before the New Year celebrations. Pairs perfectly with a visit to Zagreb's famous Advent.
