K21 Laurisilva Tacoronte

This trail half marathon starts in Tacoronte, a northern Tenerife town surrounded by vineyards (home to the Tacoronte-Acentejo wine appellation), and climbs into the surviving pockets of laurisilva — a relict laurel forest that has survived since the Ice Age on the Canary Islands. The route is hilly, with the sharp climbs and descents typical of the island's volcanic terrain. It's organized by Gesport Canarias, which runs several similar trail events across the archipelago.
