The Mitja Marató Ciutat de Tarragona is one of the city's oldest traditions, held every November for more than 25 years. The half marathon course (run as two laps) passes through Tarragona's main streets, including Plaça Imperial Tàrraco, Rambla Nova and the famous Roman amphitheater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The race gathers around 2,500 participants across the 10K and 21.1K distances.
