Telekom Night Run Štrbské Pleso is one of Slovakia's most scenic night races; held in late May, it reached its 14th edition in 2026 and kicks off the summer season. The start is at 8 pm, and the 5 km and 10 km loops circle Big and Small Štrbské Pleso, the 'Lakes of Love' and run through the cross-country ski area; at around 1,350 m even a 10 km feels serious. Runners finish in darkness against the silhouette of Rysy, with kids' races and Nordic walking on the programme too. Štrbské Pleso is a gateway to the High Tatras, with trails to Skok waterfall and Popradské pleso, mountain huts and ski jumps.
