Media Maratón Internacional de Santa Cruz de Tenerife
15 November 2026 · Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain
scenicbeginner ok
Important note: since 2024, this race is no longer a full marathon — organizers dropped the 42 km distance in favor of a more mass-participation format, keeping only the half marathon and an 8K. The course runs along the Santa Cruz de Tenerife waterfront past the Calatrava-designed concert hall, and the date has shifted to mid-November. Officially, there's no time limit at all for the race — a rarity among European events. The Canary Islands climate, though, works as always: even deep into autumn, it rarely drops below 17°C here.
Weather in November
Mid-November brings consistently warm 17–24°C, occasionally with light rain that doesn't get in the way of running.

Reviews

The weather was almost perfect all day — 17-20°C with light rain that wasn't uncomfortable. The atmosphere around the race was spectacular: the rain didn't stop crowds of locals from coming out to cheer.
