Tilburg Ten Miles has taken place in late September since 1988 and draws more than 20,000 runners. The main race is ten English miles (16.1 km), with 10 km, 5 km, kids' runs and walks too. The streets are decorated, dozens of bands play along the course and thousands cheer — a mix of an elite race and a street festival. Tilburg is a former textile city turned creative hub: the TextielMuseum, the Spoorzone in the old rail yards and Koningshoeven Abbey, where Trappist beer is brewed.
