The 29th Media Maratón 'Villa del Tratado' runs through the streets of Tordesillas, a small town in Castilla y León famous as the site where the 1494 Treaty of Tordesillas was signed, dividing the newly discovered lands of the New World between the Spanish and Portuguese crowns. Both RFEA-certified routes (10K and half marathon) wind through the historic center on the banks of the Duero river. Early registration through August 15 costs a symbolic 12 euros for the half marathon.
