The Meble Wójcik Ultra Wysoczyzna is a spring trail race on the Elbląg Upland that its organisers call the most beautiful in northern Poland; the next edition is on 16–18 April 2027. Its five distances have animal names: Deer's Roar 103 km (+2,300 m), Wolf's Howl 54 km, Boar's Squeal 22 km, Fox's Screech 13 km and Owl's Hoot 6 km. Surprisingly for the flat north, the courses are very hilly: deep ravines, steep slopes and beech forests above the Vistula Lagoon. The atmosphere is friendly, woodsy and a little wild, as the names suggest. Elbląg offers its rebuilt Old Town, the Elbląg Canal where boats travel over land on rails, and Frombork with Copernicus's cathedral nearby.
