Medio Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich
25 October 2026 · Valencia, Spain
pb courseflaticonicworld marathon major qualifier
The Medio Maratón Valencia is a legend of world distance running — this is the course where Yomif Kejelcha ran 57:30 and Letesenbet Gidey set the women's world record. Organised by Valencia Ciudad del Running, the same team behind the Valencia Marathon, the race is famous for flawless logistics and a genuinely flat profile from start to finish. Runners begin and end near the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, tracing a loop through the historic centre and the Maritime Quarter. Mild late-October Mediterranean weather and thunderous local support have made this the race where personal bests are made — it's an official round of the Super Halfs series. Entry is by ballot only, as demand vastly outstrips the available places.
