The Verona Run Marathon 21K takes place in mid-November alongside the marathon and a family run; in 2026 Verona's running festival celebrates its 25th anniversary. The race holds a FIDAL Silver Label, with pacers and aid stations on course, a medal and certificate for every finisher, and the expo and on-site registration at the AGSM Forum. The route runs through the streets of a UNESCO-listed city, between Roman monuments and medieval squares along the Adige. It is organised by the Veronamarathon club with support from the Veneto Region and the city. After the finish: the Arena di Verona, Juliet's balcony, Castelvecchio and its Scaliger bridge, and a glass of Amarone from the nearby Valpolicella.
