The Mitja Marató de Vila-Seca is a young but fast-growing race in the Catalan town of Vila-seca, best known for sitting next to Spain's largest theme park, PortAventura. The course is certified by the Catalan Athletics Federation (FCat) and is regarded as one of the flattest in the region, making it a popular pick for personal bests. Organizers offer three distances — 5K, 10K and the half marathon — starting together in the town centre. The event is run by Runners Vila-seca with support from the town council.
