Winterrun bills itself as 'winter's big running party': an evening run on an illuminated course with fire arches, light shows, DJs and performers. The Oslo edition starts in late January, with a choice of 5 or 10 km on city-centre roads. It's an atmospheric mass event for all levels rather than a time trial — perfect for adding a music-filled night run to a winter trip to the Norwegian capital.
