ZanteRun is an autumn running festival on Zakynthos organised by the social cooperative Yakinthia Drasi; its fifth edition took place on a Saturday evening in October 2025. The 2026 edition was cancelled and moved by the organisers to October 2027. The programme includes a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, a children's 1 km and the roughly 3 km 'Bohali Challenge' up to Bohali hill above the town; races start one after another from late afternoon, so half-marathoners run into the sunset. The heart of the event is Dionysios Solomos Square on the waterfront, home to the start and awards. Zakynthos offers Navagio beach and its shipwreck, the Blue Caves, loggerhead turtles in Laganas Bay and the Venetian castle at Bohali overlooking the town.
