Mann-Filter Maratón de Zaragoza
11 April 2027 · Zaragoza, Spain
scenichistoricbeginner friendly
The Mann-Filter Maratón de Zaragoza takes runners through the heart of the Aragonese capital, unfolding its squares and monuments street by street. The course crosses the Ebro river several times over landmark bridges — the Puente de Piedra and the futuristic Puente del Tercer Milenio — and passes near the city's bullring and the Paseo de la Constitución. The route is considered fast and relatively flat, but April weather here can be fickle: in 2026 runners faced pouring rain and strong winds, making that edition one of the toughest in the race's history. After finishing, it's worth lingering near the start area to admire the Basílica del Pilar, walk to the Puente de Piedra for the classic photo, or unwind in the Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta. The marathon and its companion 10K race have broken participation records year after year, confirming Zaragoza's growing status as Aragón's running capital.

Reviews
Corriendo Voy2026
The 2026 edition will be remembered for a long time: constant rain and strong wind turned the race into a real test of endurance — of the 9,500 who started, only 1,572 finished the marathon.
