The Festivalový půlmaraton MONET+ Zlín has been held since 2016 as part of the Zlín Film Festival, which screens around 300 films from 50 countries; the 11th edition in 2026 drew a record 2,078 runners from 12 countries, with every category sold out more than a month ahead. The course runs through Zlín's streets and their red-brick functionalist architecture, with a half, a quarter marathon, pairs and four-person relays, a festival 5K and a family run. The atmosphere is festive, with the city full of film-goers and music. Zlín offers the legacy of the Baťa shoe empire, including Building 21 with its lift-office, Zlín Chateau and the Museum of South-East Moravia.
