An entry fee rarely explains what you’re paying for. We started breaking down what actually goes into the starter pack at every race — and it turned out even basics like a technical t-shirt aren’t always included.
At Garda Trentino, for instance, the t-shirt is a €10 paid option at registration, while the default pack only contains a bag, a buff and the medal. The Berlin Marathon is a similar story: the finisher shirt and medal engraving are separate paid extras, ordered in advance.
That’s why every race card on our site shows the pack contents and the organisers’ notes practically word for word — so there are no surprises on bib pickup day.
